Volunteer Opportunities

We began our volunteer program shortly after opening our brick and mortar store in Hudson in March 2019, and we have since had over 40 people volunteer with us in various capacities. As a non-profit community grocery store, an important part of our mission is to utilize the strengths of our customers and community to help Rolling Grocer 19 thrive. Employment Opportunities

Rolling Grocer 19 is seeking full- and part-time store staff to support our mission driven work.

Part Time Retail Associate

Part time staff can expect to work 4-6 hour shifts, 16-30 hours per week, with some weekend work required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operating cash registers

  • Restocking product, maintaining overall store tidiness

  • Greeting customers, responding to questions

  • Educating customers about our store mission and tiered pricing system

  • Receiving orders as they arrive

Full Time Store Team Member

In addition to the retail associate responsibilities listed above, full time store members will grow to take on some administrative responsibilities, alongside other members of the store team, with training provided.  These responsibilities may include ordering, inventory management, marketing, or IT work, and represent approximately 25% of total work hours.
